Yes, I am a little bit late with this post, but Reed and I have been enjoying having Chris around this week! It's going to be really sad to see Daddy go back to work tomorrow.

- Reed has become a comedian. He's so good at making all the animal sounds that he has now started to alter them. His meow for a cat now sounds like a dying cat. We have been laughing at him every time he does this and now he has started to laugh at himself when he is making the sound as well. He's so funny he's cracking himself up. We also ask him what Reed says and he will make the same dying cat sound. Funny kid.
- He likes pretend like he's swimming in the bathtub. He will lay down on his stomach and kick his feet up behind him. Too cute! He continues to love bath time and always gets the room soaking wet with all his crazy splashing.
- If you ask him to give the baby a hug, he will hug and pat himself and say "aww".
- He absolutely loves watching golf with his Daddy. When the ball is hit he always squeals and claps. He also gets a little disappointed when the ball doesn't go in the cup.
- In addition to loving watching golf, he also loves to play golf. He is pretty much obsessed with his golf clubs and golf balls. He would play with them all day I'm sure. He actually has a pretty good swing too. Just yesterday he was showing us his pro-like follow through!
- Reed loves to watch movies when riding in the car. Thank goodness, this makes for much more pleasant car rides for everyone. The best of this though is when he laughs out loud at the movie.
- He ate salsa for the first time at Chile's and he liked it. He wasn't even phased by how spicy it was.
- We have sporadically talked about the clock at Chris's parents' house with Reed. While riding down the road the other day, he saw a big clock and said "clock". It never ceases to amaze us at what a little sponge he is.
- He continues to pick up new words everyday. My favorites have to be cracker, bagel and his name for my Dad, Gun-Gun (short for Granddaddy).
- He continues to love books. He especially loves the new book he got for Christmas, The Cow Loves Cookies.
- He has started throwing his toys out of his crib when he is mad and doesn't want to go to sleep. Good thing he hasn't figured out how to climb out and get them yet.
- He uses a fork like a pro and is okay at using a spoon. He likes to put them in his mouth sideways so sometimes food slides off his spoon.
- He has a little bit of separation anxiety at night. If we are standing there rubbing his back, he will lay down in his crib and get comfy. As soon as we remove our hand, he is either trying to pull it back down with his hand or he pops up quickly and starts crying.
- The little stinker fights sleep like crazy. I envy my friend whose kid loves to go night-night. I've probably said this before so forgive me if you are reading it for a second or maybe even third time.
- He has figured out to pull the cord of the lamp in his room to turn it on and off. And, as you might have guessed, this is now the first thing he does upon entry into his room.
- He loves to drive or pretend like he's driving. He'll drive whatever anyone will let him, car, four-wheeler, tractor, etc. It's his favorite thing to do.
- Reed continues to love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Honestly, we don't let him watch it that often, but it does provide some entertainment for Reed when I need to get some things done around the house. He used to ask to watch it by saying "Mouse" but now he just says "Mick". I am assuming he will put it all together pretty soon.
