Design Board #2: Study

You may remember how our study looked when we purchased our home......

The former owners had a thing for blue, I believe.  While, I am not against blue, it is already in the sunroom in a much better shade, so we knew that this blue had to go eventually.

On Chris's week off from work after Christmas, we finally picked a green that we liked, Mossy Green by Glidden, and decided to go for it.  So here is the study as it stands now.

Much better!  Just the right color for the cigar room environment that Chris is hoping for.  We picked up this cool rug at Ikea.

And, a view from the other side.  Notice that we also painted the french doors white.  This happened before we even moved in the house.

And, with a little help from Michelle over at Second Street East, Chris's room is going to look like this in the very near future.  Woohoo!  Can't wait to get started.  Thanks again Michelle!
