Chris got a surprise Friday off from work after several 4:30am bedtimes these past few weeks. We got in some much needed family time by heading to the mall to walk around and eat a Willy's-like lunch. No cheese dip though.....they don't know what they are missing!
Lauren arrived on Saturday around lunchtime and we headed out to Hyde Park to take a nice walk in the beautiful weather. We explored parts of Hyde Park that we had yet to see before, which included the Serpentine. It was such a nice day out, which meant lots of people in the park. We came to the conclusion that why would anyone want to have a yard here when they have an awesome park like this to come and play in, complete with lawn chairs, flowers, cafes, etc.

Reed found a stick in the park, of course, which he referred to as his hammer since it looked like one. |

After a nice, long walk in the park, we strolled over to Harrods. Unfortunately, we were all getting hungry, so we didn't stay long. Lauren will have to make a trip back there before she leaves to see more of the craziness that is Harrods. We ate dinner at a very cute little restaurant and then headed home. But not before we could see Harrods for the first time at night. So pretty!

On Sunday, Chris and Lauren headed to the British Museum and Reed and I went to a nearby park. I assumed Reed would be much happier playing on the swings, slide and in the sand versus being strapped in his stroller for another museum tour, lol! We all had fun separately and then met up to have lunch in Covent Garden, which is one of our favorite areas here. After lunch, we walked through Leicester Square to Piccadilly Circus.

The best I could get with my many requests of "say cheese." |

Reed putting sand on this little girl's lap, which she repeatedly asked him to stop doing. She later repaid him by throwing a little sand in his eyes, whoops. |
