Monday we headed out early to catch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Even though we thought we were getting there early enough to get up close, we were wrong, the number of people already there was craziness. Lauren did manage to get pretty close although there was some annoying guy who held his camera videoing in front of her the entire time. She did, however, manage to get some really good pics of the ceremony.

We were very curious how these people managed to get front row seats. |

I held Reed up so he could see. He kept saying "wook" (look) and "march". |

Lauren and the Palace |
After checking out the changing of the guard, we took a stroll through St. James's Park. It was a pretty awesome park, not that any of the ones in London aren't awesome. We made a quick trip through Trafalgar Square and then went down Craven Street to see where Ben Franklin once lived. Then we headed toward Westminster Abbey to take a tour. Unfortunately, Reed got sick as we were about to enter so Lauren had to take the tour alone. And, a big unfortunate, no interior pictures allowed although Lauren said it was beautiful. I have to go back before the 29th, absolutely necessary.

That evening Chris and Lauren took a ride on the London and got some great views of the city. I had to skip it because our little man was still sick. I will be going back though. |
