Let's just get the not-so-fun stuff out of the way before I start posting a whirlwind of posts about all of our adventures in London and Paris. Reed basically got sick every other day last week, so we had to send Lauren out sightseeing by herself on Tuesday and Thursday. Everything seemed good in Paris on Friday, but I got sick on Saturday and could hardly walk upright, lol. It's funny now. Reed also got sick again right before we left Paris, fun times. Other than that, we had a great time with Lauren visiting and enjoyed seeing the sights in Paris!! Okay, no more talk about the not so fun stuff!
On Wednesday we made our way out to
Windsor Castle, which is one of the Queen's favorite residences. I believe she spends most of her weekends here. We saw a lot of different things at Windsor Castle, including the interior of St. George's Chapel (where King Henry VIII is entombed), the State Rooms and Queen Mary's dollhouse (equipped with flushable toilets) but no photos were allowed to be taken, boo.

This was scary. They weren't joking. Every time a high speed train came by it scared me, even if I saw it coming. Seems a little dangerous to me. |
