Natural History Museum

One great thing about the location where we live is that there are several museums with kid-friendly exhibits within walking distance.  And, what makes it even better?!?!  They are completely free.  Sure, there are a few things that you have to pay for, but for the most part, they are free.  We will probably plan to go to at least one museum each week.  It is a perfect way to let Reed get out all of his energy and then get him home in time for nap.  He always gets so sleepy on the walk back, so I have to talk to him a lot to try and keep him awake so he can eat lunch when we get home.  Another great thing about these museums is that they are really cool!  I enjoy it!  I just know that one day, before we leave, my son is going to want to look at something long enough so that I can actually read a little bit of the information that is provided in the above mentioned museums, lol!

Natural History Museum....and this doesn't even show half of the building!

Just inside the entrance, so awesome!

Reed checking out the Diplodocus.

He never met a bench he didn't have to climb.

"I bet you can't get my finger."

Reed loved the lion.

And the elephant.

He also never met a button he didn't have to push.

Whales!  Very cool!

See, I told you.
