Beach!

We made our way to Watersound, FL the week before last to play in the sun and sand.  Unfortunately, our trip was cut short, so we made the most of the day and a half that we had there.  The first night, after our arrival, we headed out to dinner at a yummy steak restaurant and then took Reed to play putt-putt.  To say that he loved it would be an understatement.  He was actually pretty good at it and even made a hole-in-one.  After that, we stopped at Dippin' Dots for some yummy ice cream.  Peanut butter for me, of course.

The next day Tropical Storm Debby decided to move in on us, so we spent most of the day inside watching it rain.  We did make a short stop at the outlets and had lunch in Seaside at Bud & Alleys.  That afternoon, after vowing that morning that rain or shine we would take Reed out to the beach, we played on the beach in a Tropical Storm, lol!  We hope to take a much longer trip to the beach in the very near future.  We definitely need it!

The afternoon we arrived, we walked down to the beach just to play in the sand for a minute.  Reed loved it.  He was rolling around in it in no time.  Hindsight being 20/20, we should have stayed on the beach longer that afternoon.
Reed LOVED putt-putt.  He is still talking about it.
This is certainly not what the Gulf normally looks like.
Chris and Reed doing their best to build a sandcastle in the rain and wind.

My boys on the beach, soaking wet, and not from swimming in the ocean.
