Reed's 1st Thanksgiving!

We had such a great time celebrating Reed's first Thanksgiving with our families! We really do have so much to be thankful for each and every day! We are especially thankful for our wonderful little man Reed. We don't know what we would do without him! Here are a few pics from Reed's first Turkey Day! He had lots and lots of turkey, lol!

Reed Rolls Over Part II

This morning I was finally able to catch Reed rolling over from his back to his belly. It cracks us up how he raises his legs and then throws them to the side in order to get on his belly, which I must mention, he isn't very fond of. I roll him back to his back and he instantly tries to get back on his stomach. I don't guess he has put two and two together that he is the one that is causing his frustration. We are so proud of our little guy. Now, we must get to work on him getting back to his back!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Boland!

This past weekend Chris and I went to Richmond, VA to attend the wedding of our good friends Ginny Gay and Will Boland who we met while Chris was in school. We are so very excited for the two of them and hope they have a long and happy life together! We love you guys! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Will Boland!

We also got to see some of our other good friends from Boston that I hadn't seen since we moved back to Georgia. It was so great to see Erin and Michael Hales and Abbey and Luke Fuszard! The girls are planning to start a girls' trip in the near future which will be so wonderful! I can't wait!

On another note, we actually left Reed for the weekend, yikes! It was the first time that I had been away from him for more than a few hours. When my mom left with him on Friday night, I got a little nauseous thinking about how homesick I would be from him. Surprisingly, I did much better than expected. I guess I knew that he was in good hands and everytime we called to check in he was having such a great time. Needless to say, Chris and I were both extremely excited to see him when we picked him up last night! We missed our baby boy!! Thanks to my parents and Chris' parents for helping us out this weekend!! We love you all!

Just a little bit of Reed

Last Friday night Reed attended his very first football game. Chris, Reed and I went to the Chattooga Indians playoff game to watch our nephew Jared play. This was his last football game with the high school, so we knew we couldn't miss it. Unfortunately, the Indians lost but Jared played a great game. Reed really did enjoy the game. He was constantly checking everything out around him. He wasn't too thrilled by the noise at the very beginning but he soon found himself asleep. Here are a few pics of us with Reed at his first football game. Take a look at his too cute hat!

He was out of it for our picture together.

He decided to wake up to have his picture taken with his Daddy.

The other night, Reed went to sleep as I was trying to burp him and this is where he ended up. Please excuse the blurry picture, we didn't want to use the flash or turn on the lights to wake him!

As a birthday gift to me, I can only assume, Reed decided that he was going to rollover from his tummy to his side during tummy time. I was literally shocked that he did it and the fact that he has since decided he doesn't know how to rollover! While he no longer rolls over from his tummy to his back, he has mastered rolling over from his back to his stomach. There have been many nights after we put him in his crib that we hear him screaming because he is on his tummy and can't get comfortable. He did, however, manage to go to sleep after rolling over to his stomach the other night, but we are such nervous parents that we rolled him back over to his back.

Please excuse my extreme southern accent in this video, lol!

Reed absolutely loves his playmat. I can lay him there and he will entertain himself for quite some time. I love to see that he is now able to swat at the animals hanging from the top. I noticed earlier today that he actually got the monkey's foot in his mouth...it made him very happy!

Reed loves, loves his Daddy! He gets so excited when he comes home every evening, especially since Daddy makes him laugh so much. So sweet!
