Carson - 3 Months Old

Our sweet baby girl is 3 months old as of yesterday.  We waited so long for her and now she is growing up so fast.  Our 4 year old seems like a teenager compared to her though.  How does time go by so fast?  We are trying to soak in every moment we can with both of our precious kiddos.

Stats:
Weight: 13 lbs.
Height: 24 in.

2 Months Old!

Cannot get enough of this sweet girl!

At 2 Months:

  • Carson is still sleeping like a champ and we appreciate it!  She, however, is not a very good napper during the day.  She has honestly not taken a nap in her crib at all this past month.  Yikes!  She seems to only nap if we are running errands and she is in her car seat, or if she is being held. It might be time for a little bit of tough love, ha!
  • She still refuses a bottle or pacifier.  How am I ever going to be able to leave her for more than 2 hours?!?!
  • Carson adores her big brother.  If he talks to her, she smiles and cackles at him.  It is the cutest thing.
  • She doesn't like to be put down.  She screams until we reappear.  Can you say spoiled?
  • She loves the song "Down by the way, where the watermelons grow?"  It is very helpful when I cook dinner and she is screaming in her swing.
  • She loves, loves taking a bath.  She likes to push off her feet and splash her hands in the water.
  • Her little legs are getting stronger, as she is finally starting to stand up for us when we hold her up.
  • She went to her first workout class with me a few weeks ago.  She slept the entire time.  I was so proud of her.  She also went to the gym nursery for the first time yesterday, she finally hit the mark where I could bring her, woohoo!
  • I think her first rollover attempt is coming soon, she just needs to be willing to be put down more.  ; )
  • Her eyes appear to be slate blue right now.  Not sure if this means that they are heading toward blue or if they are going to be hazel like mine and Reed's.
  • She loves her Daddy.  Her face lights up when she sees him in the evenings.  I get this look when I come to get her out of bed in the morning.
  • She has really figured out her hands and everything that she can grab, clothes, toys, etc, goes straight to her mouth once she gets her hands on them.
  • She might be teething?  She is constantly gnawing on her hands.  Reed got his first teeth between 3 and 4 months, so she might do the same.
  • We are all crazy about her!
