Reed has lately started mastering the idea of ducking his head to get under things and he also has learned how to crouch down and look under things like the entertainment center, where lots of his toys end up. This is a very important skill, as it prevents a few bumped heads and we need all the help we can get in that arena.

Why buy toys?
With moving just around the corner, there are boxes popping up everywhere around our house. Needless to say, Reed absolutely loves playing in the boxes. Which leads me to question why we spend so much money on toys? No, a box is not that educational but not all toys are. Hmm...we may reconsider our toy purchases with the next baby, lol!

Reed's first weekend at the lake!
We spent Saturday and Sunday hanging out at our cousins Barbara and Guinn's lakehouse. I have only fond memories of going there with my family every summer and I hope that Reed will have the same great memories. Reed absolutely loved the water. We weren't too shocked considering how much he likes to splash in the bath. Even though the water was frigid, Reed didn't seem to mind at all.

A big THANKS I forgot to mention!
